The staff at Garden Oasis appear to be friendly and helpful. When you first walk up to the door, there is a beautiful fountain and a garden of roses. When you walk in, there is a staff member behind a large wooden counter that greets you. It has the feeling of lobby of a nice hotel, with comfortable sofas, chairs, and a large stone fireplace. Upon walking through the halls, I noticed that each room had the name of picture of the resident that lived there. But when I really appreciated was that in front of each room was decor that represented the resident, either homemade crafts, gifts, etc. It makes each room individual and very unlike a hospital setting. The rooms inside are actually a lot smaller than some other assisted living facilities I've seen advertised. They are not apartments, they are rooms with their own bathroom. However, the nice amenities that are provided outside the rooms, such as a little quiet library nook, dining room, fireplace, and lobby, make up for the size of the small private rooms. The fact that Garden Oasis is attached to a regular medical hospital is a very big plus!
