We did not choose this facility due to poor condition of the building and poor lighting inside the facility. The staff were rude and one other residents told us not to stay there

Kittitas Rehab and Recovery is a great place for your loved one. Whether looking for rehabilitation after surgery or illness, or a permanent care facility for your elderly relative, Kittitas Rehab and Recovery will work with you to provide the best possible care. Located just minutes from Kittitas Valley Community Hospital on Mountain View Road in Ellensburg, Kittitas Rehab and Recovery is able to provide comprehensive care for all their patients. The staff is friendly and warm. The care is wonderful. The rooms are shared but still provide privacy and a home-like atmosphere. There is around the clock care and services including laundry, housekeeping, and entertainment. The kitchen provides customized meals for each patient's dietary needs.While Kittitas Valley cannot support an upscale facility, Kittitas Rehab and Recovery works hard to provide the best care possible. The facility itself is older, but very clean. The staff put in every effort to serve the patients and their families. I highly recommend Kittitas Rehab and Recovery to any one who needs rehab or nursing home services.

The nurses here are very experienced. They exhibit great traits and help out a lot of the elderly here.The 74 bed facility offers a full continuum of services and care focused around each individual in today's changing health environment.The nursing facility is near a park and a retirement center.This provides a great environment for the elderly to interact with others. One bad thing is that the people in the center can be uncivilized at times and cause some trouble. Other than that, the employees provide great care to those in need. When I was there, my grandma was being led to and cared great by one on the employees. The employee came to her help whenever she called to her. The facility also has many life encrichment services such as bingo and dicing for the elderly to relax and enjoy their stay. Overall, this is a great facility and I would definetly recommend this facility to others.
