Cedar Hill Health Center had a memory care unit, an assisted living unit, and healthcare and rehabilitation. Right now, my mother is in skilled nursing. She just relies on her wheelchair a little too much to be in assisted living. It's clean and smells clean. There's a lot of natural light that comes in. It's a really nice-looking building from the front of the road as you're driving by. There are outdoor areas that have awnings, picnic tables, and stuff like that. The rooms are big enough for two beds and two TVs. I think it's a nice place. The staff has always been very friendly, and they act like they've known people forever. They give hugs, and they say they're so happy to see her and us. They're always very good about calling me to ask me questions if they're not sure about something. They treat the residents like family. They serve food. I guess it matters who's cooking, whether it's hot, lukewarm, or cold. If it's cold, they can always send it back and ask for it to be heated up, so that's good. It seems like their vegetables are a little redundant. They have broccoli and spinach a lot. They're all expensive. It's like four hundred and something dollars a day. I know that it's a lot of money to run one of those places and pay your staff and all that stuff, so I understand, but it's hard.
