I was at Homestead Nursing and Rehabilitation of Baird. If you ate in your room, the food was usually cold by the time it got to you. The facility itself was old. The care by the ones that were there was good, however, they were always understaffed, especially at night. It was probably the best of the four rehab facilities I've been in. The dining area was good, but there were usually only six or eight people in it. Most stayed in their room because it was after COVID, so everybody got used to eating in their room and never went to the dining room. The food tasted good and if you're in the dining room, you had a real good chance of it being hot, but if you were in your room, it was never hot.
