The Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center

The Ridge Rehabilitation and HealthCare Center is a 120-bed skilled nursing center that is conveniently located in the town of Edgefield, South Carolina, the birthplace of the late Senator Strom Thurmond, and is located next door to Edgefield County Hospital, and just a short 30 minute drive from Aiken, South Carolina and Augusta, Ga. We provide a wide range of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services for both short stay recovery, as well as ongoing supportive services for individuals requiring long-term care. Our focus is on improving the quality of life for those we serve through our orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, pulmonary, wound care services as well as interventions for other medically complex diagnoses, admitting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We can help avoid readmission to the hospital when a patient goes home to quickly by offering caring staff with 24/7 assistance and quality therapy to insure a smooth transition.
