"The VA chose St. Rose Care Center for my husband and the VA is paying for it. It's small and caring. It's an established facility and has been there for several years. What I don't like about it is that it's so far from home; it's 4 and a half hours one way. It has a memory care, which is good. Right now, there are only 7 residents there and they have everything they need there. The residents are allowed to pretty much roam around as they like. I'm not sure what they do with group activities, but they're able to be together. From what I can see, it's quiet area. The staff is caring, professional, and most of them have been there for quite a whole. My husband also likes their food."
