Rose Glen Village

I am in Rose Glen Village right now. I have been here for a year now. It's wonderful here. I love it. They take you out once a week, if you want to get on the list to go. They have a lot of outings. They have bingo. You can shoot pool and put puzzles together. They do a lot of puzzles. The activities director is wonderful. She's really good. There are activities all the time. I have a studio. They have one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and studio apartments, so they have different style rooms. I have a kitchen that I like. I just feel really comfortable here. They supply a microwave. Then if you want to get a 4-in-1 air fryer oven, you have to buy those yourself. They have a big refrigerator and quite a bit of cupboard space. Each room is different. They have some rooms where you can cook your own meals, like you have a full oven and everything. It depends on what size and what kind of appliances you want. If they don't supply, then you can buy your own. The staff are really friendly, and they joke a lot. They just make you feel like it is home. They will help you do anything that you need to do. The bus driver is really good. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, they take you to doctor's appointments, the bank, or the post office if you need to go. If you need something, you can go then. On Friday, they take you to Wal-Mart. If you need a cart to go around on, then they'll run in to get a cart for you. I have a wheelchair. If there's more than one wheelchair that's going to go, then they'll make two runs. It just depends on what our needs are and what they will do. I really like it here. I would stay here forever if I could. The food is getting better all the time. We have a young chef that is here now, and he's really, really improving the food.

I was a resident of Rose Glen Village. I know all the employees there personally. They are great. They have always been nice to me. They're very good people. I love the staff. When the epidemic started, they followed every protocol there was. They still got the virus in there, but it didn't spread. They got it under control really quick. They had great food. They have a menu and you have a choice of what you want. Their food was excellent; they had great cooks. I didn't do much activity with them. When there was no epidemic, they would take people on the bus to different places. They have a workout room and they have someone to work with the people in the workout room. They have a great activity director. They have stairs up to the second floor, but they also have elevators. They do your laundry for linens and they will do all your laundry for a price. They're cheaper than others, and their apartments are nice in size. I like them.
