Clapp's Assisted Living in Pleasant Garden is an older facility but it's clean. I don't have anything bad to say about this place and it's a small facility.

LOVING RELATIVE

CLAPP'S ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY WAS A FAIRLY GOOD EXPERIENCE FOR MY FAMILY WHEN WE VISITED MY GREAT AUNT. SHE WAS USUALLY IN A GOOD MOOD AND THE PEOPLE WHO WORKED THERE WERE ATTENTIVE. LIKE ANY PLACE YOU STAY AT LIKE THIS THERE ARE A FEW PEOPLE WORKING THERE WHO SEEM TO DISLIKE THERE JOBS AND DO NOT GIVE THE PEOPLE THE ATTENTION THE DESERVE, BUT MY FAMILY WAS CONSTANTLY STOPPING IN TO CHECK ON MY AUNT AND THAT MEANS A LOT. THE FACILITY ITSELF IS IN REALLY GOOD CONDITION AND THE PEOPLE WHO STAY THERE GET TO BE INVOLVED IN A LOT OF ACTIVITIES. THE WOULD HAVE SINGINGS FOR EVERYONE TO GO TO AND THEY ALL PLAYED GAMES TOGETHER. THERE IS NICE AREAS WHERE YOU CAN GO OUTSIDE AND SIT AND ENJOY THE NICE DAYS WITH YOUR LOVED ONES. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO HELP THERE LOVED ONES IN A TIME OF NEED ONCE THEY REACH A CERTAIN AGE. OUR EXPERIENCE WITH THIS FACILITY WAS ALMOST ALWAYS POSITIVE, AND THE TIMES THAT IS WASN'T WAS OVER LITTLE DETAILS NOT THE OVERALL TREATMENT OF MY AUNT. THIS PARTICULAR FACILITY IS ALSO CONVENIENT FOR MANY PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN THE GREENSBORO AREA OF NORTH CAROLINA SO THEY CAN GET TO CLAPP'S QUICKLY IF THE ARE NEEDED, AND IT ISN'T OUT OF THE WAY WHEN THEY JUST WANT TO STOP BY FOR A WHILE. I BELIEVE THIS IS A GOOD PLACE TO STAY WHEN THAT IS YOUR ONLY OPTION.

Clapps Assisted Living was a well kept place. Everything was clean and neat. The staff there was courteous. I am never a fan of visiting retirement or nursing homes but Clapps was better than some of the others my grandfather had stayed in. The nurses on staff seemed to know and take pride in the care they offered. Many places they cant tell you much but at Clapps the nurse overseeing my grandfather was able to tell me right off hand what had happened today, and during the previous two shifts concerning my grandfather without evening having to look it up. A staff that cares about people i feel makes Clapps one of the better facilities around.
