My dad is in quarantine at Robinson Terrace Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, and we've had some meetings via Facetime or Zoom. He's in good health, and the staff has mostly been good at communicating. We chose this facility because it's the first one recommended by his primary care physician and closest to my mother's home.

The one that we were most impressed with, that we were all set to take my parents to, the most helpful, and the most beautiful as far as I was concerned, was Robinson Terrace. It was very near their home, it was a beautiful apartment, and in that facility you can stay as independent as you want to be, but if the need arose for any specialized care, they had that available readily too. We were not able to go inside because of COVD, but the nurse manager and a financial person came out on their beautiful front porch, and sat with my brother, my wife and I, and went through everything that was involved with starting a relationship with Robinson Terrace. The financial person was very helpful. Not a lot of people realize that everybody panics when they hear the price of senior care, but they don't realize all the assistance available to them. When we finally honed in on what kind of apartment we wanted, they did have one readily available. Someone on staff went in and took a lot of pictures, and sent me pictures to look at. It was very nice, very well kept, and so we were just very happy with the facility and with the people. The apartments are nice and sizable, and you don't get stuck in a closet; they're spacious rooms. The outside was kept wonderfully.

I have a relative who is at Robinson Terrace Senior Living. They have an assisted living and then they have a nursing home which is a separate building, but he is in the assisted living area. They do have a pretty good system that keeps track of people coming in and out. The staff also really tries to do their job for the residents there. One thing my cousin really complains about is the food. He doesn’t like the food there. There is also a doctor that comes in once week or twice a month, but from what he mentioned he thinks they need a better doctor.
