The rooms are clean but outdated. At first, I was afraid I made a mistake choosing this place. I was accustomed seeing fancy chandelier and baby grand pianos in the main entrances, but something was missing in these places there it lacked the warmth and personal care and a feeling of home. I was impressed with Wedgewood because of the care each person gets. I personally want to thank Marissa the physical therapist for her patience and care she gave to Maria. to Donna the social worker for helping me find a permanent place for her, a special thank you to Laura, for her individual attention in keeping all the residents occupied with different activities, for Aiden in welcoming us at each of our visits and to all the dedicated caregivers that work at this facility. God bless you all and many thanks for you tender loving care.

I would of liked to know that they are short staffed everyday, regarding nursing assistants. On the weekends, it is even worse. The answer time to get a call light is anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes. The nursing assistant are supposed to round on the residents every 2 hours. They don't. The building inside is in disrepair, water stains on the ceiling, missing tiles in the bathrooms, temp. of the room are very warm. Be prepared to bring a fan, so your loved one can be comfortable. On a positive note, the nurses are very kind and good at what they do. They care about the residents. PT and OT are fantastic. They are patient and try to rehab residents back to their original function. I will not say anything regarding the director if nursing, social worker or administration. I will let you read between the lines. I am extremely sorry I placed my loved one here. It is the WORST mistake I have ever made.

My mother is in Wedgewood Rehab and Nursing Center. It looks tired when you go in, though I haven't seen her room yet. The staff seems very nice. My mom isn't very wild about being there full time. She's in a semi-private room. They have activities, and they ask if you want to join in. They were cutting bunnies out of paper, putting googly eyes on them, drawing on them to give them an outfit to wear, and things like that. They do very simple stuff. Because my mom wants to come home, she's saying that the staff is shouting at her, but they've been instructed to talk loudly to her because she only has one hearing aid. She doesn't care for the food, either; she said it's a lot of the same stuff. The facility needs to be updated and painted. It looks very worn.
