Jonathan Child Apartments is located in Dutchtown, a northwestern neighborhood of Rochester in Monroe County, NY. Residents live near the city center, where restaurants, parks, coffee shops, entertainment venues, medical facilities and other amenities abound.Developed in partnership with the Rochester Housing Authority, Jonathan Child Apartments is operated by Family Service Communities. It provides affordable, community-integrated housing to seniors aged 55 years and up. The community features 30 one-bedroom apartments, and on-site staff assist residents with transportation arrangements to medical appointments, Social Security benefits claims and coordination with external service providers. In addition, the facility's in-house assisted living program services, which are available to Medicaid recipients, include 24/7 supervision, nursing care, medication assistance and personal care.Jonathan Child Apartments is disability-accessible. All units feature a full kitchen, private bathroom and emergency call cords. Resident services include transportation to local stores, weekly housekeeping, laundry and three nutritious meals a day in the community dining room with special diet options available.
