My mother-in-law is in a community called Danforth Adult Care Center. So far, so good. The people there go above and beyond, and they are taking very good care of her. I like the fact that it's a secured facility. They use the WanderGuard system, and they're a very hands-on place. They give the residents individualized care. The location is kinda remote but it's worth it. They're very personable, and they take time to speak to the families. They're coordinating Zoom calls so that we could still see our loved ones instead of just calling on the phone and talking. We actually get to see her, and she gets to see us.

Danforth Adult Care Center was a lovely place, and the staff was very nice. I would recommend them, but my husband has endstage Alzheimer's at this time. For somebody who is able to get about and be able to do that, it's a good place. They have all kinds of recreation, and the people are very nice.

My mother moved into Danforth Adult Care Center. Our experience has been pretty good overall, although it was hard for her to adjust when moving from independent to assisted living. My mother would say that the place is noisy at times when she's in the main room with other people. But at other times it's very quiet and my mom can do what she wants in her room like listen to TV. The food is pretty good there, and the service is also good. When I requested to take my mother home to visit they had her medications ready for us. They're sensitive to the fact that she needs us still, and they're allowing her to go pretty much wherever she wants with family members. The staff is also attentive to her needs and I'd give them a good rating overall.

My wife is at Danforth Adult Care Center. She's been in there since the later part of June. The facility is in an older building that shows wear but it is clean. The staff is very friendly and from what I can see, they're very accommodating. The place has a nice dining hall that actually reminds me of a very nice, well-kept hotel. The staff makes sure everyone who lives there is listed in for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and they also serve snacks in the morning and in the afternoon. My wife has a private room with her own bathroom and shower, a dresser, some stands, chairs, and a queen-sized bed. As for activities, my wife moves freely in movement activities but has no attention span to be able to play cards and the like, so she sits there but doesn't actually participate in the activities happening around. The facility offers all the medical care she needs, with visiting doctors and all. I wouldn't mind telling somebody to look into it.

My mom is on a waiting list for Danforth Adult Care Center. The place is beautiful and well-staffed. The rooms are nice. Hoosick is a very small town and the residents can go in and out and walk around with people. They have little vans that take them around. The doctors' offices are just the next street over. There are always medical facilities available. The staff is nice and the food is wonderful. It's really a nice place. I don't think a place would be perfect but I rate this place a four. I recommend this facility to other people.

My dad's been in Danforth for a week now. It's about an hour away, unfortunately, it's all he could afford. It was an emergency type of situation and I had to get him into a place. So far so good, I'm very happy with them.

The facility was clean and nice. The people working there are super friendly. Their rooms are really nice. They have a lot of activities inside such as arts and crafts, board games and they even have religious services. They also have day trips now and then. Their food is ok and its they have a menu planned for lunch or break and snacks too.
