"I had my wife over at BeeHive Homes of Portales for two months then we moved her back home. They were nice. They were good. She's in hospice. She wanted to come home, so that's what we did. She can't get up out of bed at all. The rooms were nice, but pretty small. It had just one bed and a recliner. It had a shower and a commode in it. The food was not very good. I had to feed her myself most of the time. I had to go out and buy her food and bring it in quite a bit. They had a dining area where they bring the patients in and they'd eat around the tables, the ones that could. The staff was pretty good. There were a couple of them that we didn't like, but the rest of them was alright."

"BeeHive Homes of Clovis was very clean and nice. The room has a good layout and it has the bathroom, bed, dresser, TV, everything you would need. They have a hairdresser or somebody that could do their hair, so that was nice, and they also have a cook. Their dining area looked nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff that gave the tour was very hospitable and giving of their time. I know they were busy, but they gave me the tour, and it was very, very nice. The upkeep of the community was good, I went outside and everything was well-kept, the yard looked good and they did a good job."

"My mother has lived at this facility for the past 7 years, and my husbands grandmother has live there for 17 years. They are well taken care of, and the staff are so wonderful and sweet to them! "

"Retirement Ranches was very good. They gave my mom very good care, and my dad, too. My father was there for a short time before he passed, and my mother was there for a short time before she passed. We were there with her the for last week, and they were just excellent, they treated her very, very well. The place has 2 sides. They have sides for people who were just there for assisted living, but the other side, which is where my parents were, was for the people who were very ill. They looked kind of like hospital rooms. They would bring us food without us even asking, and it was actually pretty good food. They had a nice dining room. They had all kinds of activities going on for anyone who was able to participate. They had storytelling. They had people coming in doing exercise classes. I think they may even have cards and crafts. The rooms were small but fine. They have some smaller rooms with books and big-screen TVs that people could go into. They have one big main room where they would sometimes have the exercise classes. There were TVs in their rooms. They had places where they could socialize. Their rooms were more like hospital rooms, but the more common areas where like a nice house. It was good. "

"I believe the facility catered well to her personal needs. Her hair and nails were done often, and she appeared to be well cared for. She was often very depressed, however, but I am not sure what could have been done better to help her with that. The building had a rather unpleasant smell, but I believe that is true of most facilities of this nature. "
