Mimbres Memorial Nursing Home

This is a small facility located within the Members Memorial Hospital in Deming New Mexico. This facility was kept in a clean manor although like many nursing homes had a nauseating smell throughout the entire facility. The staff was caring and hard-working. They had cookouts every summer for the residents. They offered many activities for the residents which included book clubs, crafting, cooking and much more. They had a large room with sofas and a lovely grand piano. The environment was inviting and calming. They had a well maintained court yard for the residents to get much needed fresh air. The medical attention they received was great Bed sores were never over looked or went untreated. They had an onsite wound care center that was well stocked and maintained. This facility was fairly old but updated.
