Matelyn Retirement Community is a wonderful place. The building and the facilities are great. The food is all processed. Nothing's homemade. Right now, help is hard to come by anywhere, so they also have quite a turnover up there. Otherwise it's a beautiful place. My in-laws' apartment is a two-bedroom, two bath and is very spacious for the two of them. My father-in law-likes to play bingo, and so he does that. They also go on little tours throughout the countryside. The facilities are just perfect for what they need. They have a little pet and outdoor access right from their apartment, so that helps. They have a full kitchen, if my mom-in-law would choose to do any cooking. It's just a nice place.

Matelyn Retirement Community is a beautiful and spacious facility. The staff and residents all are happy and seem very content as though they are "at home". The prices are very reasonable and I was surprised at how large both the assisted living and independent living apartments are. This will be our choice in the near future.
