We chose Pineview Manor because it's the closest to my dad's hometown and so there would be people that could go visit him. It sits on five acres of land and to my dad, that's a big deal. He's a farmer so he can look out his window and he can see farmland. There are a lot of retired farmers that are also in this care facility and I think that helps. The staff seems very friendly. The food is very good. When I was there yesterday, somebody was playing the piano and they were playing a lot of old songs. Dad enjoyed that. The other thing is at 11:00 every day, except for Saturday, they have a mini church service and a spiritual message for the residents. I think that's important for them.
