I found Summit Villa Assisted Living for my mother. The rooms are generous with two closets, plenty of room for furniture and whatever size bed you want, and your bathroom right there in the room. I met one of the owners and seemed very nice. It was a very clean and up-to-date facility.

Summit Villa was new, clean, and friendly. It appeared to be really homey and inviting. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. They provided all the information that we needed and gave us a tour of the place. They seemed to be very attentive to their residents as well. They had everything that we were looking for. If my dad was able to move in, it would have helped if they had a GPS or something, should he get out of the facility, walk around the ground and not get lost, and they would know where he was. But he has passed on. We are actually thinking about selling our place and moving there ourselves.

My grandmother has been living at the Summit Villa nursing home in Holts Summit, Missouri, for about three years now. After my grandfather died I was reluctant to move my grandmother into a nursing home, but she insisted she did not want to live with us and disrupt our family. I need a nursing home that would allow her to be as independent as possible while still providing constant medical supervision was extremely important to us, and we made the decision only after reading several reviews and talking to several people who had experiences with local nursing homes. She initially moved into another nursing home a few miles away but had very bad experiences. After being at Summit Villa after only a couple of weeks, though, we knew that we had finally made the right decision. The staff are extremely experienced and attentive, and my grandmother loves the positive and upbeat environment. She enjoys several activities throughout the week, and she truly likes the staff and other residents. I feel that my grandmother is receiving the absolute best care possible, and I am always free to call and talk to one of the nurses to see how she's doing. The home is very well cared for, and the meals are always very healthy and delicious. I would absolutely recommend this nursing home to anyone who has a loved one that can no longer live completely independently. My grandmother receives the best care, and most respect, than she would receive at any other home in the state.
