My father is currently in this nursing home. He says that it is good, considering the circumstances and that he didn't want to be placed in it. He says that the staff is clean and attentive, and that he doesn't have to worry about his safety or money being taken from him. He knows that this is a problem at some other nursing homes. He keeps busy by watching tv, and the staff schedule weekly activities for the residents to partake in. For example, there is a weekly sewing circle, and sometimes there is bingo or dances led by local students. There is also a weekly chapel service that a resident leads, and he particularly enjoys this since he is devoutly catholic. The food is decent, but he really like when I bring him food from home. He wishes that visitation hours were longer and that he didn't have to wait so long to get his medication.
