My mother lived at Hubbell Haven for about 3 months, she liked it very much, was just waiting for a room at a nursing home, the staff is great. The rooms are on the small side but very nice. She liked the food and other residents. She just needed more care, especially for falls, she falls a lot. I would recommend Hubbell Haven.

Hubbell Haven has been serving the community for over thirty years. Current management has owned Hubbell Haven for two years. Hubbell Haven is a compassionate, warm, friendly home in Hubbell, Michigan providing residents a safe, friendly and secure family environment. Primary care givers are on staff at all times, helping residents with general aging issues, developmental disabilities and mental illness. Our staff prepare wholesome healthy meals, administer medication, make sure residents are dressed appropriately, provide guidance, emotional support and protection. We provide transportation to medical appointments. Hubbell Haven provides a full time 24/7 home for up to nine residents at a time. Rooms are available for Respite Care, whether thats one day, a weekend or a month, providing a break for primary care givers. Our rooms are more spacious than normal. I went to see Hubbell Haven, and that was good. The only problem was the room that they were going to put her in was a small room with two beds. That's not big enough. I didn't see anything wrong with the place at all besides that. Their food looks good. They had tacos, and it smelled great. It is an old house. The rooms were small but big enough for two people. If there's stuff in there and all that, I don't think so. It's only maybe four miles from the hospital. They give transportation to and from the hospital. They're nice people. Everybody said hi to me. The only problem with that is the stairway going up there. Everything looks new and good. They just renovated the whole thing. They got a TV room and a piano to play. They do games and stuff like that. They do knitting and sewing. They also have a place for people coming to visit if they need to. They've got a little sitting room.
