"The Wildwood Senior Living was a very nice facility. It was a little more on the pricey side, but I guess because they were on the newer side also. The staff was nice and helpful in showing us around and helping us determine what we needed. They were very efficient and they followed up with us. The rooms were very nice, very clean, and very well-kept. The atmosphere was very congenial and people seemed to love it. We spoke to several residents and they loved it, they wouldn't go anywhere else. They had movies, bowling, bingo, and arts and crafts. They had a community room where they could invite family and friends to come to have dinner with them. They didn't have transportation for the residents if they wanted to go to the grocery store or the mall. But if they needed to go to the doctor's appointment or have medical procedures, they would take them for that. Everything over and above your stay here was private pay. Like if you wanted them to come in and clean your room or do laundry, that would be extra over and above your meal and room rental."

"I visited Oak Pointe of Carthage. It was incredible. That was my first choice, but they didn't have the 24-hour service my dad needed. I would give them a five plus in everything from what I saw. They were amazing people. It was amazing, and the people too. Everything about it was nice. When you walked in, it smelled of home-cooked food. They were cooking, and the smell there was not that bad smell that you get at the other places. Had they been able to give my dad what he needed, we would have chosen that one hand down. They offered home-cooked meals, taking food to my dad, and feeding him in his room. If he needed that, he would have had a private room. We would have brought his own furniture. They offered all kinds of activities and stuff. They spent a lot of time with me going over everything. Since they couldn't help me, they helped me to find something and go further beyond them. They even actually called to check on my dad. So, their entire staff, the facility, everything, I just got a really warm, caring feeling about it."

"My dad moved into the memory care unit at Oak Pointe of Neosho. He's only been there for about a week now, and so far it's been a good experience. The staff was very helpful in answering any questions I had, and they're very accessible. From what I'm hearing, he thinks the food is all right. We haven't been able to see the room in person, but the building looks good. It's a newer one and very pleasing from what we saw."
