Ormond Nursing & Care Center is good and everyone seems happy. My mom is there and they're getting good care and the staff is really friendly. They have church services, bingo, card games, puzzles, and movies, and there's a nice outdoor patio area that they socialize on. The food is also good.

My mother is in Ormond Nursing & Care Center. It is very clean with a whole lot of staff running around. The caregivers seem to take better care of their patients. They have a lot of to take care of them. In one hallway, I can see at least six caregivers. They don't stay in their apartment too much. They just stay there to sleep. Then, they get them out because they have lots of activities. They encourage them to get out of the room, and they have social activities for them. I think it is an excellent facility. It is very nice. She is happy there. One thing that we do like about it is if anything is going on with her, they always give us a call and let us know. So, we feel confident with their care so far.

I'm not happy with Ormond Nursing and Care Center. My dad wasn't there for a long period of time because I had checked him into another facility. The facility itself was alright, it was adequate. Also the room that he got, a shared-room, was a little bit smaller. They did have activities there but at that time he was very ill. He lost a lot of weight and his mind wasn't exactly the best at that time. I tried to get him involved with all the things they have there. When he had fallen, they put him in a locked-down unit. I wasn't happy with that. I didn't think he needed to be in a locked-down unit. This made my decision bringing him to another facility a lot easier.
