The rooms are very nice. Housekeeping does a fantastic job.The meals are varied and well-prepared. Arrangements can be made for you to dine with your love-one. The nurses and assistant nurses are excellent. There is no long wait for attention of residents. Kevin. One of the therapists is great with residents and dedicated to help them recovery. This is a great place. My husband was a resident there. If I need care, Tangi Pines would be a choice for me. It would take me forever to give them the accolades they deserve.

We visited a family member here about 3 months ago, which I’m just getting around to writing this review. It smelled of urine immediately as we walked down the hall to our family members room. As we approached the room the light on the outside of our family members room was on. So we noticed that but didn’t think too much of it. Fast forward so we’re in the room and the bell to her room has been unattended to for at least 30 minutes which I thought was rather strange. Waited another 20 minutes and no one showed, I immediately had my doubts about this place. In conclusion someone finally came in with a funky attitude which at this point my family and I are looking distraught. Very bad place to visit and send your loved one. I rate it -5

My mother fell and cracked her pelvis at home. She spent two weeks in rehab because that's all Medicare would pay for . We brought her to Tangi Pines because our Dr said they were the best nursing home in the parish when it comes to preventing bed sores and they had a great rehab department. My mom got physical therapy and occupational therapy for two months. They had her walking in one week . Medicare part A covered the therapy in the nursing home . It actually covers 100 days of therapy but it only took 50 plus days. The staff was great. What I liked is she had the same caretaker each day because most employees have been there for a long time . The place is small but she got a lot of one on one care and a lot of TLC. Mom is home now and back to her old self but in a much better way. Thank You Tangi Pines I highly recommend this Nursing Facility
