"The people I have seen at Connect55+ Indianola have been wonderful, friendly, and just nice. The apartment is awesome. The place is fairly new, and it looks very wonderful. The apartment when you drive up to the facility is clean, wonderfully landscaped, and beautiful. The appliances they have there are a washer-dryer, a dishwasher, a stove, and a refrigerator. They have a bathroom, too. The manager was wonderful. She was very kind and very knowledgeable. She took me around and showed me everything like the weight rooms, the parlor, the game room, and the library."

"I like that Pleasant Care Living Center is in a small community and it has a small town feel to it. The staff there seemed very, very friendly and very upfront with information. It smelled a little bit, but a lot of them do. They have memory care there, too. My husband felt like the private room was too small, but I told him that all private rooms are small. You're not going to find anything bigger. They didn't have a separate shower for the private room. You have to go down the hallway for a shower. But it is an old building, so it wouldn't have accommodated that."

"My mother has already moved to Windsor Manor Indianola, and she's doing really well. It's closer to my home, and my mom really liked it, so that's where she chose to be. It's really homey and very warm. The staff is great, very personal, they help out, and they're open to hearing what you have to say. My mom enjoys all the meals that she gets. She has no complaints whatsoever. It's very, very clean and has fresh paint. She has her own apartment. They do bingo, they have a coffee shop, they have arts and crafts, they have puzzles, they go on trips, and they have devotion, church service, and exercises. Value for money is really good. She gets her laundry done, she gets housekeeping, they do her medications for her, and they help her out with her showers."

"We chose Good Samaritan Society - Indianola for my father because I and two of my brothers live here. It's nice. They got nice apartments, and they have facilities where they can have activities. They have stuff outdoors, and they have like a little area where you walk your dog because they allow you to have animals. My father has access to medical assistance if he needs it right there, and if he must have physical therapy, it's right there. Everything is just right there. We only met a couple of the staff, and they're nice. My father won't have the food program because they have full kitchens and he can cook for himself. I think the facility is awesome."
