"We found Brookdale Jackson Oaks for my mom. Even though it's an independent living, they still check on all their residents, even in the middle of the night, if she pushes her button, somebody comes. And accessibility, the price had a little bit to do with that, the amenities they offer fit mom pretty well. It's about five minutes from my house and my sister's house. They have a lot of senior activities through exercise. They have a full-time PT staff, which she will partake in, that stays in the building. They have a Sunday afternoon church service that she will participate in and play the piano because she plays the piano. They have the senior exercise, which she has not been a part of, but she does seem interested in. They have a dining room service, three meals a day. Honestly, if you ask the residents, they say the food is good. It's very clean, it smells clean, and they had an incredibly friendly staff. We've been visiting there several times. "

"The care that I saw in Jackson Meadow was good, and the rooms were clean. They had activities like bingo and card games. The staff checked on the patients to make sure they're happy or ask how they are feeling."

"Heritage Towers was very spacious and clean. All the residents there were helpful and kind. The lady who was running the place was very informative and caring. They had a community room where they had a Wi-Fi hotspot. So you could go down there and use a computer if you didn't have it in your room. They had classes two or three times a week on different things, like arts and crafts. They have people come in and do seminars, which is cool. Other than that, there was no weight room. The facility is within a university complex, so the university is letting the old people that live there use all of their facilities. Everything is right there at the university, and it's all within walking distance. You can go to the cafeteria at the university. You have to pay for it, but it was cheap."

"Wesley Jackson Highlands is two stories high. It has two different wings and a main hall in the middle. They have an activity room. I have relatives who live here, so they know me, and I know them. They have a walk area. It’s nice and quiet. The apartment has a living area, a bedroom, and a bath. I would recommend this facility to other people. I like the fact that this facility is secluded, because I don’t like crowds. They have good security at this facility. "
