"I'm impressed with Copper Creek Senior Living. It's a beautiful place. It was very clean. I was impressed with the people. They just made you feel so homey. We had a meal with them, and that was awesome. It was as if I went out to lunch at the restaurant. It was that good. I had a really good experience. They showed me assisted living. They took me into memory care, too, just to show me if my memory goes bad or whatever, they just wanted me to see both sides of it. I was very, very impressed with the place. The staff who took me around was very thorough. We went through everything. One of the gals from the office in Rochester came down and they made sure they answered all your questions, and they were through. They had me meet with a nurse, and I did the nurse assessment, and I passed that. They covered all their bases, and it was like they were trying to make a big impression, but they didn't need to, so that spoke for itself. Going to another assisted living, they didn't give you your meds and stuff, but up here, they give me the meds like I am in my nursing home, and they're carrying everything of what I have here, and so I was impressed. They have a nurse on hand 24/7, and that's a biggie for me. I would highly suggest it."

"Arlington Place of Oelwein had a very nice setup. It's roomier than the other place, but their hallways were shorter. It seemed more spacious yet more compact. It's not so spread out. Their studio apartments were nice. There was a little kitchenette, no stove or anything, but they had a refrigerator, microwave, and countertop. The staff was very nice and very welcoming. You can have a hairstylist come in whenever. They have their own salon there and physical therapy onsite. What I liked about it is there's a walking trail right out the front door pretty much, and if I wanted to go pick Mom up and take her for a walk, they had a nice paved trail to go on."
