"I toured The Gardens At Arkanshire Senior Living. I like them. They had very roomy rooms for two bedrooms. They didn't have a big kitchen for you to cook in because they wanted you to go down and eat the three meals in the dining room, but you had a very small area to cook in. They have a microwave and a refrigerator. Their chef was awesome. He brought me a lemon pie to take home and his menu stuff. There weren't set times when you could eat. They would take care of you if you had doctor's appointments that ran through lunchtime. You could still go in and have lunch with them when you get back."

"The cottage that was shown to us at Village on the Park Rogers was 1400 square feet. It was lovely. It was like a brand new house and it had more space. The rooms were larger. It had a full kitchen and it was very modern. They had a library, but it wasn't as extensive as the other facility I've been to. They have several outdoor spaces and they were lovely, too. They were well-maintained, and there were chairs in several of them that a lot of the residents would sit outside in those areas. The person who took me around was young, energetic, very knowledgeable, and very personable. They invited us for lunch and the food we had was excellent. I would have liked to have had the recipe for the entree that they served."

"I toured the Innisfree Retirement Community, and it was good, but it just didn't cater to what I was looking for. I liked it and liked the size of rooms for the two bedrooms you can move into. I liked everything about it, except that if I needed help more then they would have to move me into assisted living, which is a one-bedroom, and I didn't like that. I wanted to be able to stay where I was and not have to move. They have a small kitchen that you can use, but it's an adequate kitchen, a microwave, and everything that you'd want for independent living was there. They had a shower and a lot of storage space. They even had a closet where, if you go across the patio, they had a room where you could store some extra things. It was very roomy. It's just that when you get to the next stage, you can't stay. The staff said this was one of her first times ever doing a tour, and she did a very good job. I ate lunch there and it was very good."

"The Peachtree Village Farmington manager, Destiny, and her staff, really care and work hard to take care of the residents, one of which is my elderly mother. "

"I would give Pinnacle Springs a 5 across the board. I like them, but I'm just not ready to move in there yet. I like that I could stay in an apartment and wouldn't have to move when I decline more and more. My long-term care could kick in, and I could just stay there, and I wouldn't have to move, facility-wise. The apartments were very good. They were adequate. I like that they had a washer and a dryer in the apartment. They also had a full kitchen with a refrigerator, a stove, cabinets, and everything. What I would be taking with me would move in there just fine. I had their food twice, and it was very good."

"We toured Morada Rogers. The community is very, very nice. It's relatively new. It looks wonderful. The layout is very, very nice, too. The facilities for people to gather are great. The amenities they have are wonderful. They even have a church service, which is very nice, and there's plenty of activities for the guests. The downside is, for a single person, their studio unit is very small, so that would be what I liked the least. Their staff is great. They're also very, very outgoing, and very pleasant. The tour is very complete. These people are very familiar with their guests and they would call them by their first name. They're just very good. When we stepped in they still had Christmas decor, which was so beautiful. It's just very, very nice the way it's designed."
