"I like HarborChase of Jasper because my mother-in-law was there. She was really, really happy there and the people were just wonderful. She was there over three years ago, but I have been there since and sat with the people three or four weeks ago. The place still looks the same. Some of the people that worked there before still work there. It is a very pleasant community. I visited the assisted living, but I'm afraid my sister may have to go into the memory care if she makes it there. I would be happy to be there myself when the time comes. The staff was all very polite and accommodating. Anything anybody wanted, they got happily. They were all very pleasant. It was very clean and very nice. Anything that went wrong or got messed up, they were right there on the spot to clean it up. It is a very nice place."

"Pleasant Villa was filled up, but when they get an opening they'll call me. It's a nice place and the people there were also nice. The staff was beautiful and invited me to stay for lunch. The rooms were small, but it was a nice community. When I walked through, the people were very courteous, and very nice. The residents there were very content, and I can see that they're happy there, and not going to move either."

"I visited Skyline Village at Red Mountain. I liked that it's a newer facility and the fact that the rooms are larger. It has a beautiful view. The staffs seem to be very friendly and caring. I think this place would have been more suitable for my relative's needs, but still looking at other facilities. The staff that gave me the tour was very friendly, very informative, very helpful. and a very pleasant person. At the time we arrived, breakfast was already over and it was too early for lunch, but the staff asked or recommended that we come for a meal. They have a beautiful courtyard area where you can see the view of Vista View of Birmingham."

"I love Episcopal Place. They have lots of activities, provide rides to doctors appointments and they serve lunches. It’s just a lot of camaraderie, very nice place to live and maintenance is excellent. "

"My father moved into Regency Retirement Village - Birmingham. They were extremely easy to work with and answered all my questions about the program. I was very impressed with both the administration and with the caregiving staff. I has been a really good experience. His room is a little bit on the small side, but it is very nice. It's close to the nurses' station, and it is a private room. I just kind of seen a floor plan of his room. I have not been able to go up to the unit because of Covid. I know that they have lots of activities. They have a private secure courtyard where the residents can get outside. They have an activities coordinator, and my father seems to be as satisfied as he can be. He is hard of hearing, and that staff has been very accommodating with his hearing aids. We have been able to visit, and it has not been terribly restrictive. They have been accommodated us by setting up a room downstairs off the lobby. The room is just meant for the residents who are in the memory care unit to be able to visit personally with the family. We have to make a reservation, but we can see him two or three times a week if we wish. They bring him down from the second floor to the first floor in the memory unit, then they come back and get him. He does not just go from one place to the other without someone accompanying him, but it has worked out really well."
