My mother has been in this nursing home for a little over 5 years. Keep in mind everything was better for all the residents before the covid pandemic started. My mom used to like playing Bingo. She used to sit up all day in her wheelchair and talk to the staff and other residents. With her illness, and us not being able to go inside every day during the worst of the pandemic, she is failing, faster than what we would want to see, in her health. My mom has been treated very well as far as we can see. The staff informs my sister if there are any changes going on. The staff try their best to look after and talk to each and every resident as they can. The rooms are ok. The housekeepers do clean them and keep after them and if you need anything they will help when they can. Around the holidays (Christmas, veterans day, and all the rest) the school children make cards, come sing and bring gifts. So do the ladies from the Veteran's (legion, VFW and so on. All in all, I do like the nursing home. The staff is like family and treats you like family.
