I visited several care facilities that accepted Medicare/Medicaid and to care for my father. I chose them because our first visit there was very impressive. We were greeted with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Being an older facility the rooms are small but adequate for him. The food is really good ( according to dad...must be he has gained quite a bit of weight in the few months he's been there). They have lots of activities for the residents. The staff go out of their way to make him part of the family. He is always telling me how great they are. I have no doubt that I placed him in a center that cares.

I have a loved one in robings manor and she loves it there. I have had dinner with her and the food is good. They have a huge activity calendar in the main hallway and small ones posted in the rooms. There are always fun things going on and lots of outings. The staff are always nice and I'm always greeted smiles. The only complaint that I have is the rooms are small. It's an older nursing home so I understand that. But I'll take a great staff over that any day. If your thinking about this home they always offer tours.

I wouldn’t want to live at Robings Manor. The people that work there are OK. The sanitation is OK. I know it’s expensive; it would be nicer to trim the price down, but I guess that’s asking for a miracle. I wouldn’t want any of the food. I see a posting on a little calendar about their activities.
