I toured Sandpiper Glen 62+ Apartments. They have a lot of restrictions and a long waiting list. But the service was good. They have a one-bedroom and two-bedrooms. And the staff gave a lot of details about how to get approved. He didn't explain, though, what would happen if at one point you went a little bit over the income. There were a lot of people asking different kinds of questions so I think it was just a little bit overwhelming for him. There were a lot of people that were touring with me and a lot of people had a lot of questions. The rooms were nice. It was very comfortable and pretty good. It had everything that anyone would need in that age bracket. The only thing was that it was right by Colonial and I particularly don't like that area. There's a lot of crime in that area and the traffic is really heavy. But everything else seemed okay. They have a room downstairs where you can sit down and talk amongst each other and then they have a little snack area. Each room has their own washing machines and dryers. Plus, there is a pretty good parking space. They also have elevators. It's a nice place. The rent was a little bit higher than what I expected, though.
