Crescent Lake House

I toured Crescent Lake House. I liked it because it was closer to home and there were good people there. They took us to the kitchen and showed us the menu. The staff was good and they checked on us and wanted to make sure that we made our decision to let my brother stay home. They had things going on and everybody's going to get up and go for a walk. It was an old place when I got there but still, it was clean and nice.

I needed to move my step-dad after my mom's unexpected passing due to negligence. I contacted Kristy at Cresent Lake House and did a tour of the facility. Within 2 weeks he was all moved in. He has come from being depressed and not eating to living life again thanks to the staff here. He has no complaints so far and neither do I. The staff is fantastic and the food is delicious.

The tour with Crescent Lake House went very well. I can't remember everybody's name, but I met the doctor's brother and probably the director, but they were wonderful and showed me around and explained the different rooms. It was nice and clean and the rooms were nice. The private room they showed me was a fairly good-sized room. They said I could bring some of my father's furniture if I wanted to, and the grounds were pretty. You could sit outside and it was pretty nice. They had a nice game room and some of them were sitting down to play bingo, I think. It's an older place, but it's clean and well kept. Some of the rooms had their own restrooms, some had shared restrooms.
