"My tour of EdenHill Communities was very helpful. The staff who gave the tour talked to us and asked good questions to help me and also in the process gave me help with some of my thinking and doubts about the whole process. The tour was very clear and not pressured. It was very positive. It was also good because my daughter-in-law was there, and she had seen it, too, and so it was helpful. They showed me a studio. It's just a bedroom and a bathroom. There was a common space, and the people there seemed very content and were talking to each other. The dining areas looked fine. They have a barber area. Overall, I didn't see anything I didn't like. And the one in charge of it was great. I can see why he got promoted to that job. The place was clean and nice. And the floors are the same."

"Before moving to The Army Residence Community, we toured seven other like facilities from Florida to Texas. This community is by far the best value for the money spent than the others we visited. The staff is first class, the food is the best we have found in like facilities, the variety of living options from apartments to condos of various types, offers residents many options to call home. Facilities and resident-centered activities are in abundance. From the swimming pool to the first-class fitness center to the on-site rehab center, and an abundance of activities, residents have great opportunities for living a healthful and enjoyable lifestyle. We've lived here for over five years and wouldn't live anywhere else."

"My father and I toured The Village at Incarnate Word. The facility was nice. It's rated not only in San Antonio but it's rated across the country fairly high. So, everything that we've seen, the accommodations that they had was good. The only negative thing is it is on Broadway. So, I think with my father driving, it would have been kind of hard for him to be getting in and out of the facility because of the traffic on Broadway. Otherwise, everything else was great. The staff was great. They were very informative and assisted us even with my father not cooperating at times. But they were able to explain to him, let him know, and talk to him more about the facility to make him feel comfortable. The structure of the building is still sound. It is an older building because it's been there for a while. However, the maintenance was still intact. I didn't see any cracking of the walls or any damaged structures or anything like that. Everything seemed to be well taken care of."

"We went to Morningside at the Meadows. They were very good and very well taken care of, and the people we talked to from outside wandering around seemed to be friendly. The people we met there, the garden facilities and stuff outside looked very nice. Coming inside is like the TV place and stuff like that. They're nice. They've got everything you could want and talking to the people there, they enjoyed what they have, they enjoyed living there. So that counts. I mean, a person who's been there for a while, the initial burst of, hey, this is great, and then having to put up with daily living, you begin to shift a little bit. You may say, "I don't like this or I don't like that" but that type of thing didn't come out, they enjoyed living there. In certain places the outside was nice. They had the inside, where you want to sit down and talk to people or friends inside and it was good."
