"I did a tour of Smith Crossing. Everything seemed fine, but they had 15 people on a waitlist to get in. So, that wasn't really an option then, because we were looking at something fairly soon. It came highly recommended to us by a resident that's already there; one of my girlfriends' mom is in there, and she has nothing bad to say about the place, and is very happy with it. When we were there, they were playing a game with the residents. They were tossing a balloon around and they had noodles. Then they had another room with people, and there were two caretakers in there for six people. So, I liked that there were enough people in there to take care of them. The dining area looked clean, they had several different areas. I did not try the food, that was not even offered. The rooms looked very nice, and they were adding on, but they didn't know when the new wing would be complete. The staff member who gave me the tour, she was fairly knowledgeable. The facility is very clean. It was pretty pricey, but that really wasn't a concern. It was just more of viewing it and not having a smell."
