My parents have moved into Courtyards at Venetian Terrace. It's pretty good. I liked it. They've been there for a week now. This facility is very nice. The management is very helpful. They help us move in. It's like an apartment and they have a kitchen. It's a one-bedroom, one-bath, living room, and a terrace. They are comfortable so far. They have bingo on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Monday and Friday, they have a morning exercise program, which my mom is attending. They gave us a monthly booklet of the programs they have. I think the Father's Day program is coming up, so they're having some barbecue or something out for the residents. It's an old building, but the maintenance is pretty good. The gardens and the lawn are very nice and well-maintained. The environment is very nice. It's a little on the expensive side, but my mom and dad both are on SSI, so it's covered. They have to pay for Wi-Fi, but the water and the garbage are included in the rent. Mom likes the activities. They have parking, but it's very limited. They have to go on the waiting list for parking because they don't have any open right now. Normally, they park on the side of the road, but it's all gated. They have a library and a clubhouse where they go out for bingo and all the other programs. They have a small kitchen set up there with lots of tables and chairs and the TV is on all the time. I've seen ladies sitting there watching the program or drinking. They have coffee, cold water, and some flavored water out there. They have a barbershop.
