My room was a regular room two little closet spaces a toilet facility two beds a couple of chairs , The room was a room. It took on the personality of the person according to what the family did to decorate it . The staff that cared for me was more than I expected ,They cared about me and when I wanted to give up they would not let me quit. To this day 3 years later they remember me when I visit , The activities usually posted and often themed to the seasons ,,I played bingo .attended entertainment played games and watched the weekly movie (with Popcorn) Lots of books available . This is a tourist community Always something to do hotels and motels and restaurant of every kind. I am walking around today because of the care I received at this place. If I had to pick a place for my loved one I would consider Brighton Ridge. I forgot the food !,,I must say that I was not excited about the food it was always edible and the staff tried to make sure that you had a choice that pleased you .My husband used to bring me a goodie if I asked and that was OK with the food staff I was a resident for about 4 months .I would recommend Brighton Ridge

I am a medical professional that enters this facility on a regular basis. I can say without a doubt this facility has excellent leadership in place. Many changes have transpired over the last year and all for the benefit of the residents. The facility smells great, looks clean and is well kept. Staff are professional caring individuals with Resident care being first priority. The care is performed at a high level of excellency, a level many like facilities lack. I would have no problem recommending Brighton Ridge for your family/loved one. Brighton Ridge offers private and semi private rooms for Long term and short term stays. Therapies include physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. They offer in-patient as well as out patient therapy. The activities department is continually putting together group activities to keep the residents engaged and active. The dining manager is extremely caring and compassionate with a desire to truly know the dietary needs of the residents. Wether it be a special plate, color of napkins (so the visually impaired resident can see better), or simple likes and dislikes, she is always striving to please. For the peace of mind of residents and family members, Brighton Ridge is located within five minutes of the local hospital and within 45 mins of several larger hospitals.

My Mom has lived at Brighton Ridge for 9 months now, and I could not be more pleased with her care. The Staff is kind, caring and helpful. When my sister in law and I first visited the facility, we both took note of how clean and fresh the place seemed to be. It has never changed. It's always that way. Bright, clean, warm and friendly, So far, her care has been excellent. I have told my family that someday, when I begin my inevitable decline, I would hope they would consider moving me to Brighton Ridge!

We found Brighton Ridge for my dad. We have been happy with the care. The location and entryway are good, but the part where my dad is in is old, not very updated, and not very bright or cheery. They have games and entertainment. My dad is in a small, shared room, but at the moment, he doesn’t have a roommate. I talked to some of the people in charge, and they seem helpful, knowledgeable, and compassionate, and are willing to work with and accomodate families. We had some requests that they have followed through on. They have been really good about that.

Brighton Ridge was a small community. They had some issues with management, and we struggled with doctors over my father-in-law's physical care. It was difficult trying to do things from afar. He was there for a year and a half. The staff was great, but they had some significant management issues and financial problems. They were trying to hold off the bigger corporate facilities from coming in. He knew a lot of the residents and was very comfortable there.
