I had a very disappointing experience with this property management company at the Park Place building in downtown Sheffield. After the apartment complex was sold, the new management raised rents by 20–30% without any noticeable improvements to the property. Paying higher, Huntsville-level prices without upgrades or better service is frustrating on its own. On top of that, I connected my bank account and made a rent transfer on January 2nd. The payment bounced, and I didn’t receive any notice until January 7th. Within an hour of getting their email, I paid the balance in full. Despite paying immediately, they still charged me a $119.50 late fee for just one day. A nearly 10% late penalty for a single day simply doesn’t make sense. The administration is very frustrating to deal with. There’s no clear mailing address to send written correspondence, and the only contact option is a phone number that either doesn’t accept text messages or goes unanswered. Considering the rent prices are similar to Huntsville, the service and policies are extremely disappointing. I would not recommend renting at Park Place under this management.
