The Harbor at Opelika was very nice. The lady that did the tour was very good and very helpful. They had private and shared rooms. They were all nice and good-sized. They also had a courtyard and the same activities as the other facilities such as exercises. They just did not have any openings during my visit and they were more expensive.

We have moved my father into The Harbor at Opelika. It has been very good. He seems very happy there. They seem to take good care of him. They have a lot of activities and he is involved and he is up and moving. It has been a positive experience so far. He has only been there for a little bit, and we have been very pleased with them. They are very professional, they spend a lot of time with them, and they keep them busy. We're very happy with it. Food is pretty good, too. They do a good job. They have a little bit of everything. There are only 32 people in there, so it's very well kept, it's not overcrowded, and it's very apportioned. It's not so big that you can't get around, but it is not small either. They have something all the time from devotionals, to walking, to music, to activities, to things that work for them to get them to improve their memory and get them active.
