My husband is at Atmore Nursing Care Center. They're friendly, they're knowledgeable, and they take very good care of him. The rooms are fine. They're neat and clean, and they allow you to bring in personal items to make it homier. They're good with activities. My husband's not able to walk, but I enjoy watching the other residents. Other than Christmas dinner, I haven't tried their food, and my husband is on a pureed diet because he can't swallow anything else. I'm really satisfied with the way they've taken care of my husband. I think they're doing an excellent job with the maintenance. My husband's not able to participate in any activities, but I know they have bingo. Every day they have a walking to music for the people that can walk. They walk up and down the halls and the staff participates with them. Some of them will get into it, and they have smiles on their faces. There's not a lot of people sitting around in wheelchairs looking miserable. They seem to try to care about the patient's mental as well as their physical well-being. I think we're getting great value. You can't find any better care than that.

My mom is at Atmore Nursing Center. She has just started residency there, so I don't have a lot of experience about the place, but the rehab was wonderful. They worked with us, so no issues with that. The staff is very caring. They have met her needs. They are not fully open for visits, so it has been window visits and then, recently, scheduled visits.
