"I was in a state of emergency when I first contacted BrightStar Care in Baraboo. My parents (ages 88 & 84) are in independent living of a senior community. Father has dementia and Mother is his primary caregiver. When Mother suddenly came down with gout and was unable to walk or get in and out of bed on her own, that's when BrightStar Care came in to help. They came in twice a day to help with Mother & Father. Help included assisting with dressing, making breakfast, massaging (i.e. putting cream on their arms and legs), taking short walks, and having simple conversations.
