My mother was a patient of Amedisys Hospice for nearly in a year in Morgantown and then later in Parkersburg. The care she received was outstanding in both locations. Nurses were available whenever needed. Therapy, baths, supplies, instructions, We could not possibly have managed without them. Their genuine concern and compassion for patient and family was constant and so very much appreciated.

An aide from Amedisys Hospice Care Morgantown comes to bathe my husband. The other day the aide took his vitals. I asked her if she could sit with him while I ran to the grocery store, which was only a mile away, but she said they're not allowed to do that. I was surprised. For the first few days we have the same caregiver, but the fourth day was somebody different. She was very nice and understanding. We had a different one this past week and we liked her really well. Their nurses have been really great. The communication with the agency has been very good and I'm satisfied with them. I think they should provide an aide once a week for an hour so that I can run out and do something like pick up his prescriptions. I could use an hour once a week.

My grandfather has a Hospice nurse who is taking care of him from this facility. She is wonderful!!! She is very good at what she does and treats him as if he were her family. He is excited for her to come each time as she makes him laugh! I would highly recommend this facility!
