When my mom became bedridden in Nov. 2011 I was faced with some tough issues for her future care. After speaking with her doctor, he set up appointments with Hospice Care Team here. Since day one I have had such a peace about the care I was able to continue to give mom that would allow her to die in her own home surronded by the ones who knew and loved her. I have always felt like someone had my back when the situatuion would change with her health. I felt the liberty to call at any time with any question. I am so thankful for this team that comes twice a week, including the aide that helps me with mom personal care and the hospice voluteer that will sit with her at any time to allow us a break and dinner out occasionally. I really can't say enough about this team...but thanks so much. It is not easy to let go but when we have to it is a good feeling someone is there to walk through it with you.
