Our experience with the service provided by Providence Home Health Care is fine so far. The caregivers are doing everything they're supposed to do. They do cleaning, changing, and bathing my father-in-law. What they can improve on is being responsive, like responding back to what we asked get done or changed. It takes them two to three days to get back to us. The communication is lacking.

We're using Providence Home Care Agency for my husband, and I'm not 100% thrilled. We started around Thanksgiving. They get him from bed to the commode, from the commode to the shower chair, then they dress him and stretch his muscles. I haven't asked them to do any housekeeping. He's had three people altogether, and I asked them last week to stop sending one the one coming most often because there was a huge language barrier. My husband wears a breathing mask most of the time, so communication for him is very difficult to begin with and when the gentleman could not answer anything he was saying, instead of asking again, the gentleman would just smile and nod and go on. Paul couldn't get anything across to him. Scheduling has been OK, but the gentleman didn't show up one day that he was scheduled. They said they're sorr,y and they should've called me. It was the Thursday before New Year's and they said it's the end of the year, and they're so busy. They didn't have enough people who were trained to work with my husband. I would like to have a CNA and somebody who has a little more experience and understands some of the things that are happening to Paul.
