This facility while not the fanciest of places was wonderful to my Mom. she was an Altzheimer's patient there for 2 years before she passed away. They have a locked ward for Altzheimer's patients that is staffed by caring and patient people whose number one priority was always the patient. the disease is horrible and impacts not only the patient but the family and knowing she was at Greenwood at least gave us some peace of mind that she was being cared for treated well by caring people. In addition they took her in as a Medicaid patient and she was never treated any different than the private pay patients were. All in all this was a wonderful place that got us through a horrible time inour lives and provided my Mom with an enveironment that gave her as much quality of life that was possible considering her condition. They have assisted living, skilled nursing and hospice avaialble and i would recommend this faciltiy to anyone.
