We hired Marcy from Marcy's Vantage Care to take care of Mom. She would check on her and remind her to take some medication. She did some light housekeeping, too. She was very caring and conscientious. She would text my sisters and I and she would check in on my mom four days out of every week. Out of four days, I'd say at least twice a week, we'd be in texting communication. She would text us with updates about any observations she made about Mom, like if she was having a good day or a bad day. I liked that part very much.

Caregivers didn’t have sufficient training to use a gaitbelt or other basic home care. Overnight employees had to be woken up consistently to assist. Unless given a specific task, caregivers did not initiate anything. Plan to do a lot of training & clarify expectations prior to hiring this company.
