The hospice experience was horrible. The doctor never visited my mother despite her intense pain. Prior to SSM Hospice involvement she was able to carry on conversations. After they became involved she went downhill FAST. The care workers were rude if it was not your home. They lacked compassion and empathy. Promises were made that were never followed through. I was shocked at the callousness of the workers. I live in a major metropolitan area and doctor friends were appalled at the medical care my mother received. I wish I could have brought her to my home - I know the care would have been superior to what she received. I requested her medical records after her death and I was denied access! I could not recommend their services.

We had SSM Hospice in Maryville MO for the Care of my mother. I wish we would of called upon them quicker. They were wondeful. Such kind caring professional team. I would recommend them to everyone. THe Physician would of come if we would of needed him. Everytime we call they would be right there. Any one who says differently does ot understand the wholist concept.
