My husband was in hospice care for nearly 4 days. Every shift provider was so caring and understanding of our grief and concern for our loved one. They urged us to bring our pictures and discuss our memories aloud in his room. (They told us the hearing is last to leave) So we are confident he was aware of our good family times the pictures told. The facility was beautifully furnished, very clean, and so comfortable for us all. There was an eating area where our family gathered when friends brought us a meal so we did not have to leave his bedside for long. There was even room for one family member to stay overnight with him. It was such a comforting experience as we said good bye to our loving childrens' dad and my husband.
