"I can't begin to tell you how much Jodie and Danielle have done for us. They are amazing caregivers... which is not an easy job. I would say it's the hardest job anyone could have. They are incredibly patient, loving and kind. My mom can be very, VERY difficult. She is hardest on the ones she is closest to and unfortunately, that's me, Jodie and Danielle. "I used San Diego Compassionate Caregivers for my husband because he has dementia, and I had to go into the hospital. So, they came in, took care of him, cleaned him up, fed him, and put him to bed. They did all day care for him. They were very good. When they came out to interview me, they got me someone to come and take care of them quicker than anybody else because they interviewed three different companies, and they were the quickest ones to get me someone. So, I was really happy with that. The caregiver was wonderful and very professional. The staffing was OK, but the only bad thing was that I couldn't use my credit card. I had to mail them a check. They take credit cards, but they charge a lot extra for that. So, the payment process wasn't so great. I had to mail in the check. I was in the hospital, and it went out late because I called them, and I said it had to go late because I couldn't get home to write the check, and I had to find the stamp, which was a little difficult. They can make that a little easier, but other than that, I'd give them high marks because they were really good and very accommodating."

"I used Partners In Home Care. It was for my mom; it was fine. Some of the caregivers were very good, but some were a little inexperienced. As far as taking care of my mom, they helped her with her meals, they transferred her from the bed to the wheelchair, and from the wheelchair to the toilet, and when medical personnel came in they helped facilitate that. They were mostly taking care of her and like helping her dress and do her hair. I called different agencies and talked to them, but Partners In Home Care were more accommodating than others as far as their hours. We had family during the day, but I needed somebody early morning and late afternoon to evening, and they were amenable to splitting hours. Their minimum number of hours wasn't as high as others. They were more flexible."
