"The same people from Flowers Home Health came five days each week. They helped my father get up, get dressed, bathed, and prepared his breakfast for him. They talked to him while he ate breakfast, made up his bed, and changed his linens. They provided good conversation for him and were very kind and patient. Also, they made sure he was very clean. They came at the time that we requested, but my father didn't really like it. So they came at a time when he felt more like getting up, and they spent time with him. When I needed him to be ready for an appointment, they were there to make sure he was ready. The young lady who came was very good with my dad."

"Absolutely abhorrent. The caregiver showed up dirty and smelled like alcohol. She was late and not very nice when confronted. I called and talked to someone and she was just as rude. Stay away from these folks."

"My mother has Alzheimers and this agency came into our home and interviewed all of us and put together a plan of care that helps the whole family. They provided skilled nursing and therapies when she needed them, but mostly they provided an angel in an everyday caregiver to mom. This allowed the rest of us peace of mind to go on with our lives. They really care about mom and keep looking for ways to improve her life. God Bless them. "

"My mom is on hospice, and people from BJC Hospice at St. Louis are coming in a couple of days a week to help me. Everybody is so incredibly nice. They're very receptive and very easy to get a hold of. When you need something, they're very accommodating and they send supplies out immediately. They're just absolutely wonderful. Every single person who's been out here, whether it's the intake nurse or the regular nurse or the social worker or the bath person, they're all just absolutely wonderful. They send a bath person 1 to 2 times a week and this person completely bathes her, changes all the sheets and pillowcases, and changes her clothes. She's wonderful. She puts lotion all over her skin so her skin stays in good condition. Then a nurse comes out twice a week and she takes her blood pressure and all her vital signs. She evaluates her and looks at her wounds. She has some bedsores from being in the other facility, and it is something that we're still dealing with. One of them's quite large. The nurses are wonderful. The social worker is fantastic, too. She's trying to do anything possible to make everybody's life easier. The chaplain came out, too, and she was wonderful. She talked to my mom about all sorts of old times and things that my mom loved, like baseball. They just have been the best. Even if you go to a facility, you can still have the hospice come to the facility."

"I have friends who've used the Lutheran Senior services before. I just had people do the housekeeping and jobs around the house. They helped me take care of the house when I couldn't walk. I had an orthopaedic nurse come once a week to look at my leg. They knew what they were doing. They're specialized enough and had one orthopaedic and neurologic staff. "

"This employer does not hold it's employees accountable to report to work. We have frequent, short notice, unexcused absences for my wife who requires 24 hour nursing care."

"Our principal physician is in the Mercy system. Somebody suggested that we might like to check Mercy Home Health. We just had a referral from a good person that we trusted and our primary physician so we thought it would be good to take their advice. It was very good and very dependable. Everybody was well trained and knew their job well. They kept their appointments on time which is very important to me. My family and I were satisfied with them. As far as I know, the caregivers were well investigated, and I trusted them completely. "

"I would recommend St. Anthony's Ide Greef Hospice House without a doubt. When I tried to bring my wife home one weekend, they came in and set up a hospital bed. But I couldn't handle her, so the next day I sent her to a nursing home. St. Anthony's followed her over there, set up rails on her bed and mattress. And she was there for a short time only because I took her to another nursing home. Once again St. Anthony's followed her over there, set up rails on her bed and mattress. So they followed us to three different places. They were always there for her. "
