I have home health right now, and it is called Nhc Homecare Crawfordville. My doctor wrote a prescription for them to come and help me for six weeks. They provide registered nurse care and PT. They check my BP and temp, and they come in and check my wounds to see how they're doing. They are very good. They're registered nurses, and the PT are licensed. The billing is taken care of by my insurance and Medicare, so I don't pay anything out of pocket. They come out every two days for nursing, and every two days for PT. They'll call if they're going to be late, and they'll call before they come. They really do take care of me. Like I called them this a.m., my doctor was not happy with one area of the surgery, and they kept up with it.

We do have someone from NHC that will come out and check my aunt. She has congestive heart failure and swelling problems with her legs. They do come by and check those kinds of things but they don't do any of her personal care. The nurses that they send are all pretty good. They tend to get right to their job. They take care of what they need to do, do the paperwork, speak with my aunt and explain what they've done or going to do, and then they're on their way. They're just professional. The problem I had with the home care is that they don't send the same nurse consistently. They change from day to day. I told them to let my aunt stick with one nurse, so that he or she would be familiar with my aunt's needs.
