The Primrose Retirement Community of Gillette is very nice. They have a lot of amenities like their own little movie area where you can go see movies. They have an area where they host bazaars, and I think they also have a bar area or wine area. If the residents would like to have a glass of wine, they can do that there. They have a dining room where they have their meals, but you can also cook in your own room if you want to. There are different areas. I think one area is more where people can live by themselves; then the other one is for those who need more help. I toured the assisted living area. I think the staff is good. They came in and gave meds. They were very friendly to the client. For activities, they play games or you can do games; I'm not exactly sure. They have movies that they show. If you would like to go see a movie, you can go and do that.

I do not like or trust Chipper or Dana . They tell you one thing and do another. Not enough and very poor activities. The aids and other staff are pretty much loving and kind but there’s not enough of them.

We have had multiple family members in the facility. The issues have progressively worsened. Extremely high turn over with CNA’s. Nurses in charge always seem like any issue is an inconvenience to them. They are constantly making claims to their “policies” to fit what they or don’t want to do. Overall we are not happy with the facility but it’s one of the only options in town.

Pretty nice facility except the staff. They seem cranky alot and do their job half assed. Showers still have hair in them when they were just "cleaned". They not straight forward about their rules as the resident gets older and needs more help. When you ask they never give you a straight answer. They never do laundry on time.

This is a fabulous facility for both independent and assisted living. It is elegant, comfortable, and offers superb amenities for residents. The only drawback that I can see is that there are no furnished apartments.
